Aurobora Press
this review by Cynthia Barton of bayarea.citysearch.com
" Housed in the historic Underwriters Fire Patrol building, Aurobora is a fine arts press dedicated to American and European contemporary monoprinting and montype mediums. All work is produced in a print studio located in the back of the gallery, and artists are invited to spend time in residency to work with master printers. The press also hosts artists' evenings, educational seminars, and workshops. "

Headlands Center for the Arts
944 Fort Barry (off Bunker Road), Sausalito, 94965
Read the HCA review at bayarea.citysearch.com
Spectacular seacliff scenery in quintessential Marin County surroundings make for beautiful and memorable events at the Headlands Center for the Arts. The very building is a work of inspired renovation from its former life as an early 20th century military installation. The mind-clearing vapors of eucalyptus and the evocative echoing of sea-lion barks let one know: One does not have to go far from The City to receive nature's inspiration. Indeed, the artists who find the Headlands Center a retreat and a creative laboratory thus respond.
